We had a visit today from the lovely Gentle Paws ladies, as our Spitzpoo, Cherry, was in need of a groom. She is so anxious when we leave her anywhere, she absolutely hates going to the groomers, especially! So we thought we would see how she got on with a home visit.
I must I say I was so impressed with how Marta and Jen were with our Cherry. They came with all their equipment & were so gentle & loving, lots of encouragement and they took their time to work at her pace changing up where necessary.
Within 20 mins she stopped being so anxious and actually seemed to enjoy the attention! She seemed relaxed and that is so important to us. The ladies were open to our comments and suggestions but we trusted their expertise and we were not disappointed at all.
Overall very impressed with their service and will be booking in regularly without the guilt I used to feel having her groomed!
Oscar who has always been very nervous about grooming salons, so I was honestly worried about how he would react.
Jheni completely changed that experience for us. She arrived right on time, was calm and patient, and immediately made Oscar feel safe.
During the bath and grooming she handled him so gently that you could see his anxiety fading away.
After the session, Oscar was relaxed and happy. He didn’t come back stressed from grooming. I truly recommend Jheni. (Gently Paws) to anyone with a sensitive dog.
